SEW CREATIVE! 101

TUITION $240
January 22nd to March 19th
NO CLASS January 15th and February 19th
Mondays 6:00PM to 8:00PM
Age: Ages 10-Teen
Instructor: Jonelle van Bastelaar
Materials: All supplies for this session are included.

SEW Creative 101 is a class students will be taught how to be "sew" creative with sewing!  Students will complete a variety of projects while using the skills being taught in the class.  Some skills include learning how to knot thread, hand sew, machine sew, putting in a zipper, sewing buttons, using a rotary cutter, and so much more that will enable them to complete the sewing process!
Students will be encouraged to bring a sewing machine.  A variety of materials and fabrics to choose from will be provided for the projects.  If students would rather purchase their on fabrics and other material to add to their projects they are welcome to. A supply list will be provided before the start of class as an option not a necessity.

Note: If you do not have a sewing machine, that’s ok! Machines will be provided. Machines in class are limited and may require students to partner up.

What Our Clients Are Saying

After my first class, I went on to take many of Miss. Kristy’s other classes year after year, and eventually, when I became too old for them, I started helping her as a counselor- in-training. I have had a TON of art teachers in my life, and I will always say that Miss. Kristy is by far my favorite. I cannot think of a single time where she ever told me to give up on something or made me feel like I should stop trying. She was always so supportive of me, especially when I was creating my college portfolio. In fact, I really miss her now that I am off in college because even after a year of college professors, I still see her as one of the most helpful and amazing teachers I have ever had.
