PERSPECTIVE DRAWING

DRAWING BASICS: PERSPECTIVE DRAWING

TUITION $190
January 9th- February 27th
Tuesdays 4:45PM - 6:15PM
Age: Ages 10-Teen
Instructor: Kristy DeFlores
Materials: All supplies for this session are included.

This drawing basic class will focus on perspective drawing but not limited to.

For students wanting to learn fundamental drawing skills, this class starts by creating a strong foundation to build upon. This class will be split into two parts. During the introductory phase, students will receive formal element training. They will focus on the basics of representational drawing: line, shape, contrast, and gradation. Students will learn how contrasts of value creates form and in combination with gradations you will achieve an illusion of realism. Through a variety of sequential exercises, students will learn to create works of art that demonstrate one point and two-point perspective. During the second phase of the session, students will apply their learned skills to create a perspective drawing from life, photography, or imagination.

Future Drawing Basics classes will build upon the skills learned in this class

What Our Clients Are Saying

After my first class, I went on to take many of Miss. Kristy’s other classes year after year, and eventually, when I became too old for them, I started helping her as a counselor- in-training. I have had a TON of art teachers in my life, and I will always say that Miss. Kristy is by far my favorite. I cannot think of a single time where she ever told me to give up on something or made me feel like I should stop trying. She was always so supportive of me, especially when I was creating my college portfolio. In fact, I really miss her now that I am off in college because even after a year of college professors, I still see her as one of the most helpful and amazing teachers I have ever had.
